Kod 95 is the European Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). Without it, it is impossible to legally work as a truck driver in any EU country. Below is a comparison with similar qualifications for the African and Asian markets.
Certificate of Professional Competence · EU
What it is: official qualification under EU Directive 2003/59/EC for professional drivers of categories C, CE (trucks) and D (buses).
Why it is needed: without it, no transport company in Europe will hire you. It is not an optional course — it is a legal requirement.
How to obtain: complete 35 hours of mandatory training (every 5 years) at an accredited centre. Our course is fully online, from anywhere in the world.
Who issues: an accredited European training centre with branches in Poland and Lithuania — the certificate is entered into the state register Regitra and is recognised throughout the EU.
Professional Driving Permit · South Africa
What it is: South African PDP (Professional Driving Permit) for drivers of heavy machinery, dangerous goods and passenger transport.
Why it is similar: both documents confirm that the driver has undergone additional professional training — beyond the basic driving licence.
Key difference: Code 14 / PDP is valid only in South Africa and some SADC countries. For work in Europe, Kod 95 is required.
IMPORTANT: having Code 14 or professional driving experience is a significant plus when applying for a European visa.
If you already have experience driving trucks, this greatly simplifies preparation for working as a driver in Europe. Experience counts, the course is completed faster, and it is an additional argument for the consulate when issuing a work visa to Poland or another EU country.
An invitation is an official document from an employer or our training centre in Europe (Poland / Lithuania) that confirms that you are expected and ready to be hired. Without an invitation, getting a work visa is impossible.
Invitation from a European employer — Poland / Lithuania
Kod 95 certificate proves your professional qualification. The consulate sees that you are technically ready for work.
The employer invitation proves that you are already expected. The consulate sees a specific offer with position and salary.
Together, these two documents significantly increase the chance of visa approval — especially for citizens of African, Asian and CIS countries.
After arriving in Europe, you sign an employment contract and can immediately apply for a residence permit — the EU permanent resident card.
We include assistance with obtaining an invitation in the 'Full Package' tariff — you do not need to search for an employer on your own.
A European partner transport company (Poland or Lithuania) or our training centre. We help with selecting an employer and preparing an official invitation letter.
The invitation proves that you have a specific purpose of entry and a guaranteed job. This is one of the key documents when applying for a work visa D to Poland or another EU country.
Attach it to the consular documents package along with the Kod 95 certificate, passport, certificates and photos. Apply for a D visa — the national work visa.
The entire journey — from course registration to legal resident status in the EU. Step by step, without unnecessary steps.
Register on the platform and get access to 35 hours of video lessons and tests. Training is in Russian, English, Arabic and other languages. You choose your own pace. Average completion time is 2–4 weeks.
Within 5 working days after passing the final test, a certificate is issued with the signature and stamp of an accredited European training centre (Poland / Lithuania). The data is entered into the state register Regitra – employers and consulates can verify it online.
Our partners — European transport companies (Poland, Lithuania) — issue an official invitation letter specifying the position (category C/CE driver), salary and conditions. This is a key document for the visa. Assistance with the invitation is included in the 'Full Package' tariff.
With the Kod 95 certificate + invitation + international passport, you submit an application for a national work visa D at the consulate of Poland or Lithuania. This is the visa that allows you to enter and stay for work. Our partner visa agencies will help you assemble the full package of documents.
The employer meets you in Poland or Lithuania. You sign the employment contract and register your place of residence. This is a standard procedure — the employer accompanies the entire process. You start working as a driver on European routes.
After employment, you apply for a residence permit — a residence permit in an EU country (Poland or Lithuania). With it, you are a legal EU resident: free movement in Schengen, healthcare, social guarantees, the possibility to bring your family. After 5 years — permanent residence permit.
Work in the EU, residence permit, healthcare, pension savings, free movement in Schengen — all this starts with one online course.
